  3. tinyCAM! (TINYCAM!.EXE) is a Windows 3.1 shareware
  4. utility that captures the screen, or alternately the active window,
  5. to successive BMP files.   It is an essential utility in collecting the
  6. raw screen images needed for help file development, user 
  7. documentation illustration, the accurate recording of unusual 
  8. program events or bugs, and the collection and preserving of 
  9. important screen images.

  11. The files included within TINYCAM!.ZIP are the following:
  12.  
  13. README.TXT    -  this instruction file        
  14. TINYCAM!.EXE    -  the tinyCAM! executable
  15. TINYCAM!.HLP    -  the tinyCAM! help file
  16. DWSPYDLL.DLL    -  Desaware's SPYworks DLL
  17. SBCKBD.VBX    -  Desaware's SPYworks Keyboard hook VBX 
  18. CAMERA.WAV      -  Camera sounds
  19. CAMERA2.WAV     -  "
  20. CAMERA3.WAV     -  "

  22. tinyCAM! is written in Visual Basic 3.0.  As such, it
  23. requires that VBRUN300.DLL exists in your Windows System directory.    
  24.  
  25. I have a 'slick' install program that takes care of everything having
  26. to do with installation, but for file exchanges across BBSs 
  27. it takes up too much room -- adding almost 300K to the files.  
  28. So . . . to install tinyCAM!, please do the following:
  29.  
  30. 1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory.  If not,
  31.    please download a copy and place it there.  There is almost certainly a 
  32.    copy of VBRUN300.DLL on the BBS or Service from which you downloaded
  33.    tinyCAM!; probably as a zipped file with a name such as VBRUN300.ZIP,
  34.    or VB300.ZIP, etc.

  36. 2. Place the Desaware SPYworks-VB version 2.0 files  -- DWSPYDLL.DLL and
  37.    SBCKBD.VBX -- in your Windows System directory.   These files allow
  38.    tinyCAM! to establish hooks into the windows keyboard system that set-up
  39.    HotKeys to act as the camera shutter release button.

  41. 2. Create a directory TINYCAM! (or whatever else you'd like to call it).
  42.  
  43. 3. Copy TINYCAM!.EXE, TINYCAM!.HLP, README.TXT, and the CAMERA wav files
  44.    into the new TINYCAM! directory.
  45.  
  46. 4. Create a program manager icon for TINYCAM!.EXE by adding it as a file
  47.    in your ACCESSORIES program manager group (or any other group you'd like).
